Hi  I'm Whitney Schwartz the daughter of Joe Schwartz, the founder of  Custom Hair, In the late 80's after many years of trying to hide his baldness with silly looking comb overs and botched hair transplants, My father Joe went on what he referred to as the "great Hair piece Hunt". If he was going to wear a hair piece he wanted it to be totally seamless. He wanted the undetectable look that the movie stars had. So he went and paid arm and a leg for what he was told was the finest hair money could buy. After a few years of breaking the bank wearing the "best" Joe wondered if there was a way to do better. What if he could make a hair piece using the finest materials and lace available, bring it to the public and make it more affordable. So that's what he did. He tirelessly immersed himself in the art of making a hair piece. He sold his current business and opened the first custom made hair piece factory and salon in Orange County in 1989.

Since then  Custom Hair has been the gold standard and leader in providing the best non surgical hair replacement there is to offer. We are the only salon that still makes  hair systems in house and involves its clients in the process.
